Job Title: Solution Architect (Insurance/Claims Domain)Location: DublinType: Hybrid (2-3d Onsite)Overview:Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in the Claims-Loss domain within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, architecture design, and implementation within an insurance context, along with proficiency in modern technologies and frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Design and architect solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Claims-Loss domain in the insurance sector.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.Develop high-level architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.Provide guidance and oversight to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.Ensure solutions align with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Required Skills and Qualifications:Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks for building Java-based applications.Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including ECS and EKS.Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle and SQL Server, including O/R mapping techniques.Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and user interfaces using AngularJS or similar frameworks.Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, ActiveMQ, AMQ, or RabbitMQ.Experience with event streaming platforms like AWS Kinesis and Apache Kafka is advantageous.Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred (Nice-to-have) Skills:Familiarity with tools like Co-Pilot and Code Whisperer and understanding of how they contribute to software development.Basic knowledge of GenAI technology.Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly within the Claims-Loss domain.Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
