About the Role As a Senior Full Stack Software Development Engineer, you will:Write and maintain robust, efficient and extensible code using a varied set of languages, frameworks and tools including Xpresso, React, Typescript, GraphQL, NodeJS, Cypress and JestDeliver reliable software through continuous integration, automated testing, and in-depth code & design reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, plan and deliver exciting capabilities.Advocate & champion best practices in both software engineering & agile development.Build proof of concepts to help shape the future success of our product.Mentor, coach and learn from peer teammates through workshops, pair programming, code/design reviews and documentation.Be an excellent teammate, placing the team's collective success as the highest priority.Capture & Analyse data to make data driven decisions About You Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field7+ years of experience building enterprise level web applicationsSignificant object-oriented development experience; building SOLID applications, developed in languages such as; Java, Kotlin, C#, Python or JavascriptSignificant Front-End development experience; creating RESTful Web applications, developed within the React ecosystemDemonstrable track record in technical leadership - people, product & process. Other Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build strong, trust based cross-functional stakeholder working relationships.Experience with WCAG and accessible UI developmentExperience with Node.JS and/or Jenkins is a plusExperience with data analytics and tooling; Jupyter Notebook, Grafana, Wavefront, Tableau, Hive, Spark etc.At Workday, we believe every potential recruit brings value to the table.
