(“FRMC”) is a leading independent third party Fund Management Company providing management company services to Luxembourg, Ireland and UK domiciled collective investment schemes in accordance with the respective regulations. Due to the expansion of the company, we have an opportunity for an Accounts and Reports Officer to join our team based in Limerick, Ireland.As a Reports and Accounts Officer, you will work as part of the fast paced and growing Regulatory Reporting Team. You will support the team in meeting its fund accounting oversight requirements under UK law and market best practice. In your daily responsibilities, you will use analytical, technical and communication skills to help our clients and internal business owners solve problems as well as help identify and share key insights.This role requires you to maintain a strong relationship with all relevant stakeholders, including investment managers, client relationship managers (“CRMs”) and third-party administrators to ensure we are providing service excellence to our clients.Job responsibilities:- Deal directly with investment managers, Fund Accountants, Transfer Agencies, Auditors and Client Relationship Mangers on daily basis.- Review KPI data provided by the Fund Accountants and actively participate in quarterly/monthly service review meetings- Anticipate potential risks and impact on the net asset value calculation, escalate issues and contribute to resolution of problems- Assist in developing measures to restructure and align management company services to meet future client, regulatory and business needs- Develop, adapt and improve appropriate risk-based control regime for each assigned service provider by analysing internal and external data – i.e. control and auditing reports- Review interim and annual distributions, ensure that they meet SORP requirements- Review expenses to ensure that they do not exceed allocated budget, instruct any required adjustments- Review monthly/semi-annual and annual OCF calculations- Review annual and interim financial reports for funds domiciled in various jurisdictions- Oversee audit process, deal with audit queries on behalf of the clients, address any issues or recommendations raised by external auditors- Follow-up with clients and service providers regarding any issues raised until resolution- Ensure that the funds managed by FRMC receive the most beneficial tax rate on dividend income. Oversee the withholding tax reclaims filing in countries where double tax treaty agreements are place- Review and arrange signing of various legal documentation related to withholding tax- Keep up to date with market developments regarding capital gains and dividend withholding tax in various jurisdictions- Assist with any ad hoc queries received from clients- Keep up to date with new regulations. Support in interpretation of new regulations on how the fund/investors will be affected- Ensure supporting procedures are accurate and kept up to date- Continuously build on existing processes to improve quality and efficiencyThe ideal candidate will possess:- A strong academic background including a MSC in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field;- Proven in-depth knowledge of European Regulated Investment Products, UCITS, AIFMD and Fund regulatory requirements- Proven experience in Regulatory Reporting, Financial Reporting environment- Excellent communication, analytical and critical thinking skills- A demonstrable willingness to learn and desire to build a career in financial services;- Excellent attention to detail and proven timekeeping skills;- An ability to work under own initiative- An ability to multi-task and work under pressure and to deadlines- Strong focus and be high motivated and driven- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word- Excellent communication skills(written and spoken) including fluent English- An ability to work in an every changing environment ApplicationsIf you are interested in this role, please send your CV with cover letter to: XXXX@fundrock.com (please note that the title of your e-mail should be “Reporting Opportunities”).
