Purpose Statement To ensure the implementation of all Quality Systems across the site. Key Responsibilities Responsible for Quality Engineering of a given area. Implement and ensure compliance to the regulatory requirements and BSC quality system. Work with Value Stream Operations and Engineering Managers to deliver business objectives; with emphasis on Quality metrics through monitoring the performance of the QMS and implementing necessary remediation activities to ensure steady state performance and or improvement. Manage the preparation for, and front external audits; including Global Corporate Auditing, Certification / Notified Body audits, Health Authority inspections. Own cross-functional partnerships to identify and resolve product performance issues; providing technical guidance to teams and driving accountability. Lead or represent function in periodic business metric review boards. Assist developing strategies for the quality function. Own / drive execution of multiple complex department projects under the Quality Best 4 Strategy or site Strategic Activity Review (STAR) projects. Responsible for the departmental basics including budgeting, hiring, day-to-day management, project resourcing, setting direction and identifying priorities. Manage and develop a team proficient in Quality Engineering; risk assessment/management, problem solving. Take a leadership role in continuing to improve / enhance the Quality management system and processes. Demonstrate through management a style respect for the BSC core values and a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. Be recognized as champion of behavioral/GMP and cultural initiatives with strong quality related decision-making skills demonstrated on critical Quality issues. Experience & Qualifications Level 8 qualification required in a related discipline. Ideally 8 + years’ experience in a Leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experiencing of decision making and influencing at all levels; including building strategic relationships. Strong focus on driving an engaged and inclusive culture and developing a high performing cross functional diverse team. Results driven with a proven ability to deliver targets and meet deadlines. Key Decision Maker and ability to drive innovation and influence site strategy. Excellent understanding of financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and deliver on strategic plans. Preference for experience within automation.
