The CompanyThe Company is an industry-leading Irish company providing professionalproperty maintenance and property upgrade services across Ireland.The RoleWe are looking to expand our organisation and give someone a greatopportunity to work in an ever-changing environment based from our headoffice in Galway, Nationwide travel will be requiredThis is a Nationwide role, so location is flexible.Facilities Manager Duties: Demonstrate a proactive work ethic, taking ownership of projects and displaying a keen willingness to learn and develop.Manage Capex/Project operations within designated developments, overseeing contractor documentation, tendering processes, and compliance.Act as the primary liaison between, operations and service Contractors, addressing project-related matters promptly and efficiently.Conduct site inspections and ensure developments meet prescribed standards.Budget management, including costing, preparation, and operational oversight.Drive health & safety compliance and implement audit findings promptly.Collaborate closely with central Operational Management team.Sign off on all completed projects.Generate innovative cost-saving ideas and enhance site sustainability.Provide periodic reporting to management and clients. Facilities Manager Requirements Ideally looking for candidates with strong Property/Facilities/Construction skills.Minimum 5 years' experience in building service management or facilities management.Previous trade or electrical experience advantageous.Customer-facing experience an advantage.Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.Proficiency in health & safety regulations and quality management.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.Relevant qualifications in Facilities/Project Management or related field.Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with meticulous attention to detail.Leadership qualities and team management experience. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: building service management or facilities management.: 5 years (preferred)
