About the Team In the UI Platform Authoring pillar, we are obsessed with enabling fast, low cost, modernisation of UI across all of Workday while improving the developer experience of our ~4000 Application Developers. About the Role We're a full stack team using React and Java, working with a platform mindset, on solving complex problems at scale in collaboration with our UI Platform partners and key stakeholders. About You You can set best practices for development of software at scale and have deep knowledge of software development patternsExperience with monitoring and performance analysis and code quality metrics coupled with a drive for code quality and encouraging peers to elevate their craftAn unbridled curiosity and interest in problem solving and iterative developmentHands-on experience with crafting robust unit tests and working with continuous integration and deployment pipelinesProactive, innovative, growth mindset. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience2+ years of Java programming experience1+ years of modern Frontend/Javascript development experienceStrong data literacy and analysis skillsBSc in Computer Science or equivalent qualification Additio nal Qualifications: Experience designing performant, scalable and resilient applicationsExperience with influencing the technical decisions made by a teamFamiliarity with designing, building, testing, and monitoring a service in productionWillingness to flex between server-side and client development, if required Nice to haves Mobile application development experienceInterest in UI/frontend development Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
