The CompanyMy client is one of Galway's best known pubs with a vibrant music scene and large customer base. The RoleA vacancy has arisen for an experienced and capable event management team member in Monroe's Galway, an award winning Bar, Restaurant and Live Music Venue. They are looking to expand their events team and are seeking someone capable of organising a multitude of events including Live Music Events, Corporate events, Private Functions and much more. Responsibilities Run events across a wide range of areas Work alongside a number of different departments Assist the other members of the events management team organising events Promote and market upcoming events Requirements Experience working in both front and back of house in a fast paced environmentPassionate about events Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative teamAttention to detail and commitment to providing high quality, memorable eventsCapable of managing all aspects of an event through from ideation all the way through to shut downSelf-starter & Team PlayerFlexible, Reliable & Organised Work Experience At least 2 years experience in the Events IndustryIdeally have a background in Hospitality Experience in Event Marketing with the knowledge to market events
