We champion our core values and uphold the highest standards of Safety and Well-being, Innovation, Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, Agility, Accountability, Diversity and Inclusion in everything we do.We have a talented team in the Glanua Group of 450+ people across Ireland and the UK and are rapidly expanding our workforce across several disciplines to meet our ambitious growth plans.Workshop Foreman / Supervisor Supervise the workshop and its staff to achieve an agreed level of quality, efficiency and profitability.Provide both maintenance and technical support in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Ensure workshop is organise and safe to operate in, as set out by the company’s health & safety standards.Allocate and approve work orders and ensure times allotted are not exceeded and that additional work is recorded accurately.Test equipment/products after completion of work to monitor quality control and complete pre-delivery inspections.Ensure deadlines are met as prescribed by management.Responsible for general order in the workshop and ensure that tools, special tools, equipment and workshop literature/checklists are complete and up to date.Liaising with clients, design, sales, service and administration departments, and prioritising work based on capability and needs.Provide toolbox talks for all workshop staff.Be able to demonstrate good problem solving initiatives and maintain and solve NCR issues. Job Requirements and Competencies Profile 3+ years experience as a Workshop Foreman/ Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fabricator is a distinctive advantage.Confident and good understanding of welding and fabrication.Familiar with CNC milling machines, and processes.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work on own initiative.Efficient, with good organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to use Microsoft package programmes; Word, Excel, Outlook etc.Manual handling certFork Lift Licence would be an benefitFull clean driving license desirable What we offer you: The opportunity to join an ambitious and growing organization.Monday to Friday working week finishing early on Fridays.22 days annual leave plus 10 bank holidays.Competitive base salary with annual salary reviews.A company laptop and phone.Access to EAP – 24/7 365 days confidential employee counselling service, free for employees and their families.
