This role will be based in our Head Office in Loughrea, however there will be an element of travel involved. You will be required to travel to our sites Nationwide. Main Duties and Responsibilities:The main duties and responsibilities of Quality Engineer the are outlined as follows: Develop the Quality Strategy in accordance with the requirements of the Glanua QMSQuality, Document Control & AssurancePromote ‘Perfect Delivery’ approach and ‘snag free’ through the objective of ‘right first time’ and by facilitating inspection through engagement as per the project Inspection Strategy.Provide assurance to the client that all processes & procedures are being adhered to by utilising & implementing the audit and surveillance processes.Ensure that lifetime records demonstrate compliance with specified requirements, and that they are produced in a timely manner for all permanent works activities, in accordance with the requirements of the collaborative management plan: Quality, Document Control & AssuranceEnsure the production of the Quality Management Plan (where applicable) for assigned projects as requiredMonitor and report on compliance with the Quality Management Plan and escalate to the project managers attention any issues identifiedFacilitate the development of the appropriate client related ‘quality deliverables’Review and assist in the development of Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plan’sEnsure adequate arrangements are in place for inspection activities, both on and off-site, relevant to the level of risk for the product or service, and in line with the project inspection strategyReview, participate and assist in the development of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) when and where requiredInspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes. Knowledge, Skills and Experience:The main knowledge, skills, and experience required of the are outlined as follows: Degree or HND in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.Experience in D&B project delivery across Utility Construction Industry5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management skills.
