Due to our continued growth we are delighted to offer a new Area Manager role to cover both our Galway and Limerick offices. Since 2005 Comfort Keepers have been providing a broad range of care to those most in need in our community; including Palliative Care, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care, Adult Respite Care and Disability Care. We also provide those invaluable general home help services such as Personal Care and Companionship services. We have now grown to become Ireland's leading home care provider and were independently voted as Ireland’s best employer on Indeed in 2018 and 2019. As Area Manager you will be responsible for your own dedicated geographic territory. The job role provides an opportunity for you to lead and develop your own team of carers to provide exemplary care in the community. Due to the nature of your role, hours are understood to be flexible. The Area Manager will work alongside the Management team to ensure the safe and effective provision of care to all our service users. You will be the direct point of contact for your colleagues regarding the service users that are in your area. As Area Manager you will work with Head of Services to ensure that all care packages are reviewed effectively and that any changes are brought to the team. The position allows you to grow the number of hours that your team provides by adding additional packages and expanding the service in your geographical region. As Area Manager you will be responsible for the growth of your team and continued excellence in the service provided to our clients. Duties: Client Relationship manager for the geographical territory First point of contact for any client's non-clinical issues Ensure completion of the P1-P4 clients monthly quality commitments and targets are coordinated between themselves, supervisors and Clinical nurse manager Ensure all issues reported are correctly documented and actioned within 24-48Hrs window Properly manage the customer expectations to ensure in line with our capacities/capabilities and the customer's requirement Ensure the correct reporting and follow up for any complaints or compliments in the share drive as well as correct report documentation Work with Planning/scheduling team and Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure the right match between carers and clients Work proactively and in full collaboration with Clinical Nurse manager to ensure optimal support of each clients Identify if further private support could be offered to the clients and track weekly uptake Summarise weekly on the key gaps and work with Head of Services to establish proactive action plan to mitigate most common issues or gaps with trackable and measurable metrics Responsible for Managing the area Clinical Nurse Managers, Client Service Managers, Supervisors and overall output from planners and schedulers for their geographical area Maintain a solid relationship with the branch team working together on development and growth in the assigned area Lead for all HSE quarterly/monthly reviews – Key point of contact for all HSE escalations or discussions concerning any clients in their geographical area Management of the team performance to the HSE tender agreement Will be able to work towards business growth targets and ensuring all KPI delivery Accountable for the provision of on-call services in your area Monday to Sunday ensuring effective management Assist the Senior Management Team with developing channels of communication across the company and ensure open communication is fostered Produce a weekly and monthly management report to the Line Manager concerning performance Support all office HR investigations Strategize with Head of Services to continuously enhance service and scope Back up for the Head of Services when on leave Attend staff, team, management, and board meetings as required Keep abreast of changes implemented in the Home Care Industry Ensure the continuous improvement of service delivery Be prepared to participate in events and publicity as required Demonstrate leadership, empathy and flexibility to manage changing working environments. Management of the COVID check calls Ensure delivery of the area growth plan Human Competence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in team management, rotas and on-call phone 3 years’ experience in care delivery or relevant industry Relevant Health Care Qualification. Ability to plan and organise own workload Full, Clean driving licence and access to a car Appropriate insurance for vehicle business purposes Powered by JazzHR
