Job Title: Skilled and Fully Qualified Butcher Job Description: Perform Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled butcher to join our client's esteemed team in Dalkey, Co.Dublin. As a butcher, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and excellent opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities: Perform precise cuts of meat, poultry, and fish as required by the shop's standards. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and guidance on meat selection, preparation, and cooking methods. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking meat products. Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff members as needed. Handle customer transactions and operate the cash register when required. Requirements: Fully qualified butcher with at least 7 years of professional experience. Extensive knowledge of different meat cuts and butchery techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and occasional Sundays. Physical stamina to handle the demands of butchery work, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
