DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Make Product Analyst, located in Cork, Ireland This role will assist the DePuy Synthes Cork manufacturing site in delivering innovative manufacturing systems by understanding user needs and translating them into Epics and user stories for the site delivery squad. The Make Product Analyst will influence the technology landscape at the site by engaging operations, engineering, quality, and other local functions to define and shape the solutions implemented. They will conduct industry and franchise benchmarks to identify cost effective solutions, find opportunities to collaborate, and leverage. Key Responsibilities: * Understands portfolio of IT systems that the business uses at a local and franchise level; may specialize in specific applications and as such hold deep product expertise * Understands business processes and needs, collaborates with business functions to ensure robust delivery and support of IT systems. * Build use cases, writes, manages, and clarifies user stories, visualization and process flows for manufacturing process and business processes supporting manufacturing * Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and improve user experience * Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing stories and features, optimizing cost, and improving delivery efficiency * Manage and groom the site squad backlog by creating user stories 2-3 sprints ahead of squad with a clear definition of done and feature level results aligned to a definition of readiness to enter sprints. * Apply Business process improvement methods for optimization * Track site and squad metrics and build reports to measure progress * Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, ensures SDLC documentation, system configuration and compliance activities are up to date as required. * Support and/or facilitate system demos via workshops and design reviews as needed Qualifications Education: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technical field (Engineering, Science, Mathematics) or Information systems (e.g., Computer Science, Mgmt of Information Systems) Experience and Skills: Required: * 7 years of experience working with Technology or in engineering, technology fields * Proven knowledge and understanding of standard IT service delivery, ITIL and Agile practices. * Experience gathering requirements and translating into a product vision by demonstrating their experience in product development, engineering, UX and software delivery. * Deep understanding of business/ processes and high-level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery * Experienced in managing a product backlog/ release plan, tracking team level metrics, attend product team ceremonies, removing blockers. * Proficiency in Agile delivery tools; JIRA, Leankit, Confluence, Asset Mgmt, etc. Preferred: * Experience in managing software product portfolio for a product line or product group * Experience working with Manufacturing, Labs or Quality Systems. GxP SDLC proficiency. * MS Azure and Power Apps proficiency or certification is preferred Other: * English language required. * May require travel 10-20% of time based on project or product deployment requirements within Europe. * Certifications: Product Analyst, Scrum master or PMP * Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
