Role: Mechanical Quantity SurveyorLocation: Denmark We're thrilled to announce that our commercial team in Cork is expanding, and we're on the hunt for a Quantity Surveyor to join us! This role is perfect for someone with a passion for travel, as it will start in Cork and then move to Denmark for 12 months. Responsibilities Involvement in all phases of the project, including tender documentation, cost management, contractor performance assessment, and procurement.Administer Sub-Contract orders from award to final accountIdentify, Analyse and report on trends within the Business & ProjectsAttend and provide input to relevant customer/client commercial meetingsEnsure compliance with Contract Programme /Schedule and provide weekly reports to construction team on planned versus actual progressReview all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team, and /or subcontractor to identify Contractually critical items and to initiate replies.Create a procurement schedule for the projectConduct periodic review of works to identify appropriate cost saving measures Requirements Relevant Degree2 years’+ experience working as a Mechanical QS on Pharma projectsPrevious relevant experience working in Ireland or the UK an advantageGood communication skills and proven record in taking Tenders from Pricing through to final client award Key SkillsMicrosoft ExcelTime ManagementCommunicationProficient with Piping Measures and Isometrics / P&ID’sAbility to work in a team environment but also able to work independently to close out Final Accounts Due to the urgency of this role, we cannot consider candidates that do not have the appropriate work permits in place.
