Our Client’s current efforts are focused on supporting a local charity and include a variety of fundraising campaigns. This includes raising awareness and attracting new supporters within the community to increase the essential funds that support the charity's various programs and initiatives. By supporting this local charity, they aim to foster a stronger, more supportive community, making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Role Overview As a Fundraiser, you will develop a thorough understanding of the campaigns, enabling you to confidently represent the charity. This entry-level role will help you master the basics of fundraising and customer service. You’re day-to-day activities will be diverse, involving both office work and field interactions with potential donors and community members. Expect each day to be different and full of new challenges. Responsibilities of the Fundraiser Engaging with Supporters: Act as an ambassador for the charity, engaging with potential donors to promote the charity’s mission and values in a friendly, informed, and professional manner. Conducting Presentations: Deliver presentations and share information about the charity’s goals and initiatives with enthusiasm and clarity. Handling Inquiries: Address questions and provide knowledgeable responses to build trust and ensure donor satisfaction. Processing Donations: Assist supporters with the donation process, ensuring all details are accurately recorded and processed. Implementing Strategies: Execute fundraising strategies developed by the Executive Team to achieve fundraising goals. Collecting Feedback: Gather feedback from donors to improve fundraising approaches and tailor strategies for better results. Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with your team to share insights, strategies, and best practices for effective fundraising and donor engagement. Ongoing Learning: Keep up to date with industry trends, charity knowledge, and fundraising techniques through continuous training and professional development.
