We are seeking a motivated System Administrator to join our talented Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the availability and our systems through the management of our helpdesk and partaking in Teams to drive the development of the organisation. The ideal candidate is looking for their next challenge, a place to learn, develop their skills and career under the expertise of our Senior System Administrator. The RoleYou will be provided with the support of the wider information Technology Team and guidance necessary to succeed. This is a real opportunity to improve, design and implement new hardware and software infrastructure and become a key team member vital to all aspects of our operation. We are seeking a candidate with a good technical foundation and a love of technology. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaboration and Learning: Collaborating with other IT Teams and actively participating in training and learning opportunities to enhance technical skills, stay updated on emerging technologies, and contribute to the overall improvement of the IT infrastructure. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and incident reports to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Assisting users with technical issues, such as software installations, network connectivity problems, and system errors, and providing timely resolutions or escalating to senior administrator if necessary. User Account Management: Creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts in the system, including granting appropriate access privileges and permissions. Performance Tuning and Optimization: Be part of our ongoing automation and process improvement initiatives Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard Barry Group. Qualifications Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Proactive outlook.Experience in a similar role.Be comfortable in a team environment.Office 365 experience.Active Directory ManagementBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
