You’ll lead on acquisition campaigns that recruit regular givers to our core Child Sponsorship programme, as well as recruiting donors to our lower value regular giving product and managing cash recruitment.Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Individual Giving Officer will play a key role in the planning and implementation of our strategy to maximise income from individuals. You will have experience working in a fundraising environment, specifically in direct marketing, and of managing supporter acquisition across a variety of channels.You will project manage and deliver high quality supporter acquisition, reactivation, upgrade and retention campaigns to engage new supporters, develop relationships with existing supporters, and ensure activities are executed on time and on budget.If you thrive working in a highly collaborative environment, possess great team-working skills and have a genuine passion for our values, feminist leadership principles and vision, we would love to hear from you! Key roles and responsibilities Strategy and Planning Support the Individual Giving Manager in preparing the acquisition and donor development strategy, considering journeys from prospecting through to conversion and donor development.Plan the portfolio of work for acquisition and supporter development across cash, regular giving and child sponsorship to drive new donor volumes and maximise ROI and LTV.Partner with the Individual Giving Manager to develop the sudden onset emergency response plan to ensure Plan International is first to market when emergency strikes.Develop an annual campaign plan, to ensure fundraising acquisition and development activity remains to schedule and tight management against deadlines and budget is applied.Actively seek cost-effective ways to increase recruitment volumes and improve on donor quality with a specific focus on managing our face to face acquisition channel. Execution Manage face to face acquisition campaigns to recruit child sponsors, building strong relationships with our external suppliers and implementing strong performance management initiatives to drive volume and donor quality.End to end planning, implementation, analysis and evaluation of key acquisition and donor development activity including tax, upgrades, lead conversions, cash appeals and reactivations.Work with the Digital Officer to develop a detailed understanding of our target audiences and ensure channels and the fundraising proposition are appropriately targeted to drive volume and value. Build strong working relationships with external partners including creative, fundraising, print and telemarketing suppliersEnsure internal alignment and clear and open communications across the Fundraising Team keeping all parties updated, engaged, working to schedule and taking responsibility for their own direct areas.Prepare and deliver high quality and engaging training sessions to suppliers to ensure they are well informed and bring enthusiasm to fundraising campaignsShow initiative and be proactive with suggestions to increase efficiency and drive response and growth from the Individual Giving supporter base.Continuously monitor campaign performance against long and short-term KPI’s and analyse campaign results with recommendations to maximise future results.Manage the tax back claiming process with revenue, ensuring that tax income is claimed on a quarterly basis. Systems Support our ICT and Digital Operations Officer to actively manage our donor database, ensuring that data input is in line with our processes and GDPR regulations.Lead on the development of data strategies for campaigns, appeals and other supporter communications and manage all data imports.Consistently seek to improve data segmentation strategy to optimise campaign performance.Support the ICT and Digital Operations Officer with data cleansing exercises and ensure data is up to date and compliant with GDPR standards. Person specification Skills and Experience:Essential: Minimum of 2 years fundraising experience in an Individual Giving Team.Experience delivering cash and regular giving acquisition and development campaigns.Forecasting, reporting and post campaign analysis experience.Demonstrable project management experience with the ability to manage multi-channel campaigns end-to-end.Relationship and supplier management experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience managing supporter databases, analysing trends and implementing recommendations. Desired: Experience managing Face to Face recruitment campaigns.Experience fundraising during sudden onset emergencies.Working knowledge of the charitable tax back scheme and processing tax back claims from Revenue.Experience developing regular giving products and with Child Sponsorship fundraising products. Salary and benefits Plan International Ireland operates a salary scale, as well as a broad range of employee benefits.This role is graded as a Level 3 within our salary scale, with an expected range of between €36,000 and €44,000. Placement on the scale will be dependent on level of experience and fit within the role.In addition to salary, Plan International Ireland provides a number of employee benefits, some of which include:- Private Health Insurance for all employees (from commencement date)- Matching company pension contributions up to 5% (once probation is complete)- Flexible working hours (core hours of 10am to 4pm daily, minimum of 37 hours per week)- Remote Working option on completion of probation to a maximum of two days per week from home.- Commitment to training and development. 25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service up to 30 days.
