We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data insights for improved decision-making.Job details 100% remote job 6 month project Full time position Key Responsibilities As a Data Engineer you will demonstrate your ability to: Sensitivity: Internal Use Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and solutions, ensuring proper compliance with client’s architectural standards. Design and build stable, reliable and effective data processing pipelines across the Data Lake and Data Warehouse in Snowflake. Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architect and Business Analysts to integrate systems and automate data collection processes. Develop and update technical documentation, ensuring it is clear and understandable by the wider Data Team. Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders. Your Skills, Qualities and Experience Essential · Proven track record as a Data Engineer with demonstrable experience in projects and solutions you’ve delivered · Extensive experience with SQL for complex data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. · Experience working with dbt core or dbt Cloud. · Experience with Snowflake. · Proficient in Python for scripting and custom data ingestion. · Familiarity with data modelling, ELT development, and data warehousing techniques. · Experience with Git and GitHub Pull Requests. · Experience supporting QA and User Acceptance Testing processes. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. · Desirable Experience working with GitHub Actions. Experience working with Fivetran. Experience working with Terraform. Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly (e.g., AWS Lambda, S3 and ECS). Experience with Power BI. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps. Understanding of the entertainment or ticketing industry is a plus.
