Overview: CLS is currently going through an unprecedented and exciting period of growth and development and is now looking for a Sampling Technician join our logistics team in an new project in the East of the country. Founded in 1994, Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) is the highest accredited contract laboratory in Ireland, providing industry-leading sampling, analysis and fully trained micro and analytical analysts on contract to clients in the food, environmental, medical device, biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical sectors.We offer bespoke managed service solutions that give clients the option of having our expert team on-site at their own facility or outsourcing those services to us here at CLS.The SamplingTechnician would travel to client site to carry out Environmental Monitoring of cleanrooms at our client site. The clients would predominantly based in the East of the country with travel back to our lab in Galway. Roles and Responsibilities: Working as directed according to company safety policies and cGMP.Ensuring that all GMP quality systems within the department are adhered to daily.Carrying out Environmental Monitoring of controlled cleanroom environments – surface bioburden, active air and passive sampling, non-viable particulates, personnel monitoring, swabs, water sampling and compressed air testing.Execution of the above sampling as per approved protocols and test methods.Liaising with customers while on-site performing Environmental Monitoring.Log-In of samples into the LIMS system.Data Entry into the LIMS system.Supporting sampling investigation reportsGood Documentation PracticesRepresent the department/organisation on various occasions. Qualifications: Course in Cleanroom operations or equivalent.0-1+ years’ experienceKnowledge of GMP Quality Management System desirable.Attention to detail and good organisational skills.Self-motivation whilst also being an effective team player, ability to work efficiently under pressure.Effective communicator, both verbal and written.A professional, pro-active approach with influencing skills as well as an ability to work efficiently under pressure. This position is a permanent full-time role.
