This team builds scalable, cloud based instances of the Workday stack for Workday developers and testers, as well as the Workday Continuous Delivery pipeline. In support of the increasing demand, we are growing our team delivering Cloud based services which meet Workday's Operational, Performance, Management and Operational needs. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a world-class Engineering team in Dublin, Ireland. About the Role The successful candidate : is a software engineer able to learn and chip in to a solution that scales to 1000s of users, while not requiring an army of heroes to maintainwill help and contribute to building, testing and deploying this solutionwill be able to disagree and commit when neededwill also be able to collaborate with team members in their technical growth, as well as help the team implement the best software development practices. Responsibilities: Work with geographically distributed teams to deliver development and testing environments in an automated, scalable, stable, self service way to our end users.Use your fixing and triage skills to provide assistance to solve sophisticated operational and end users issues.Implement improvement initiatives such as methodologies, standards, processes, and tools to make teams more efficient. About You Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of shown experience in software development, including proficiency in Java, ReactJS.Experience with Relational and NoSQL (DynamoDB, Redis) databasesGood knowledge in developing Microservices, distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading and design principlesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills Other Qualifications Experience in Linux Shell Scripting, Bash Scripting, and JenkinsAny experience to AWS or GCP stack (SDK, EC2, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, Route53, S3, GCE, GSC, VPC) is a plusSome level of understanding in Ruby on Rails, Scala.Experience with Agile Principles and standard methodologiesExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentA strong drive for success and a proactive approach to personal growth, with a commitment to continuous learning.
