The Role & Candidate: Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued success in the Business, the company is expanding with several dynamic and exciting roles. They seek a digital delivery coordinatorforample-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role will be site-based and located in Loughrea. The Digital Delivery Coordinator’s primary focus is coordinating BIM deliverables to ensure the successful delivery of our client requirements throughout all project phases. The role will primarily be office-based but will require site visits occasionally to report on the project’s progress & verify that information requirements are being captured and linked to the project Information Model. The successful candidate will work within the Glanua digital delivery team toconsistently achieve quality deliverables across our project portfolio. They must monitor the quality of information shared on project CDE and confirm that all deliverables comply with the BEP&EIR to ensure they align with Glanua 's digital delivery plan. Conduct compliance reviews, issue non-conformance reports where required, and offer the project team corrective guidance. Attributes: Excellent communication & organisational skills. Looking to improve their skillset continuously. Engineering background, ideally in the water or wastewater sector. Keen interest in innovation and emerging technologies. Experience in Revit model and drawing development, including Family Creation. Experience in Navisworks Manageis essential. Experience in Synchro Pro is desirable. Experience in Project management is beneficial. Experience in setup and management of BIM projects is desirable. Experience in Coordination and Clash detection procedures is desirable. Experience working to timelines in a project environment is desirable. Ability to work off their initiative and as part of a project team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Digital Delivery Coordinator are outlined as follows: During the design phase, ensure information is developed perour Digital Delivery Plan, project BEP and Clients’ information requirements. They will monitor the development of information throughout the design and into the constructionstage. Design Stageresponsibilities. Collaborate on multiple projects, fostering a unified team culture. Establish and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) with the agreed folder structure and data collection protocols. Implement workflows, reviews, and access controls according to company SOPs for design participants. Provide access to company QA/QC templates on BIM 360 and ensure issue tracking and management from the project outset. Support the design manager in managing open issues efficiently to maintain project timelines. Conduct prestart training for project stakeholders to clarify responsibilities. Facilitate information flow through the CDE and support decision-making with structured data. Manage asset information requirements and ensure data capture and structuring through the CDE from the design phase onwards. Oversee the development and documentation of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensure design compliance with client and industry standards. Coordinate design elements, including model/drawing development and clash detection, to ensure consistency and accuracy across all project deliverables. Construction Stage responsibilities. Maintain alignment with the company SOP for construction participants and ensure access to relevant QA/QC templates. Track and resolve issues from the design stage that remain open at the construction commencement. Support the Project Manager in issue management to keep project delivery on track. Ensure all approved information is correctly published for the construction stage. Manage the Asset Information Requirement (AIR) delivery plan during construction and facilitate asset data collection. Employ BIM tools and processes to enhance site team efficiency and compliance with project requirements. Utilise 4D models for construction planning and maintain constant communication between site and office teams. Ensure the CDE reflects real-time site activity and progress. Coordinate with the site team to ensure model accuracy and provide necessary model-derived drawings, information and schedules. Update the O&M and Safety files progressively throughout project delivery. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: The priorknowledge, skills and experience required of the Digital Delivery Coordinatorare outlined as follows: 3rd level qualification in either Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Construction Management or a proven technical background are essential. Advanced skills in any/all the following are preferable: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit or Plant 3D, Synchro 4D and Navisworks. Experience in MS Excel, Power BI, Dynamo and BIM360 are desired but not essential as training can be provided. Must be an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter dedicated to learning and advancing their career in the Digital Engineering space. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. Enjoy working both individually and as part of a multi-discipline team essential. Understanding how to communicate potential coordination issues to the design leads is essential. Understanding the relevant BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired but not essential.
