Overview:As a supplier of automation equipment KAON have been providing custom designed automation solutions to leading manufacturing companies globally since 2005 and have a proven track record of providing innovative and flexible solutions.The successful candidate will work on challenging, innovative projects within a highly technical and collaborative working group.The Role: Machine Build TechnicianA critical role to the success of our projects, the required candidate is a highly skilled individual, detail orientated and motivated to achieve the highest standard of work practices.Duties: Mechanical assembly and debug of automated machineryLiaise with the design team on alterations/improvements required during the machine build phaseField wiring/ plumbing of pneumatics and sensorsComplying with company safety policiesMaintaining GMP standardsMeeting project delivery deadlinesOn-site installation of equipment Skills: Ability to interpret Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electrical drawingsA high degree of mechanical aptitude and skillsAbility to troubleshoot/envision solutionsExcellent communication skillsSelf-starter with good attention to detail Experience/Qualifications: Computer literateGood knowledge of health and safety workplace practicesExperience using 3D CAD applications e.g. SolidWorksExperience in a similar role an advantageExperience of automated/high volume production an advantageExperience with engineering problem solving tools an advantage (Six Sigma, CPK, 5 Whys etc.)Current driving licence Salary and Benefits: Attractive Salary PackagePension SchemeTraining and Education Transferable Skills:We would also encourage applications from individuals with experience in the following roles: Automation TechnicianManufacturing TechnicianMaintenance Technician
