Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Controller to join our clients team. The Quality Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients products meet stringent quality standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Daily Quality Checks: Perform thorough quality inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products according to established protocols. Identify any deviations from quality standards and take immediate corrective actions. Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and company policies. Complete quality-related paperwork accurately and promptly to maintain comprehensive records. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize product quality, minimize waste, and enhance efficiency. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence. Supplier Relations: Maintain effective communication with suppliers to assess the quality of incoming materials and address any quality concerns promptly. Work collaboratively with procurement teams to source high-quality ingredients and materials. Hygiene and Sanitation: Ensure that all equipment, work areas, and facilities meet sanitation standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular hygiene inspections and implement corrective measures as needed to uphold food safety standards. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a similar role within the food processing industry is highly beneficial. Minimum HACCP Level 5 certification is required. Proficient English language Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to undergo further training and development as required. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
