You will be responsible for ensuring that all Glanua ICT, including infrastructure, cloud and application platforms are adequately supported across sites in Ireland and UK. You will work closely with the Finance Director and will be responsible for managing all Glanua IT support staff.The Group IT Manager is also responsible for setting out the process within the business to present, evaluate and consider strategic IT decisions. Ongoing development of Cybersecurity planning and innovative ways of working using latest technologies.Main Duties and Responsibilities:The main duties and responsibilities of the Group IT Manager are outlined as follows:Leadership & Management Management of the overall direction of IT to achieve increased efficiencies with integration, innovation and automate business processes.Manage, develop, and train IT infrastructure staff. Perform staff reviews and appraisals. Work with and develop IT support staff in regards Cloud services (SaaS, PaaS), core products used and process automation.Put in place processes & procedures to ensure the robust management of the security of all IT systems, applications & infrastructure.Take a Leadership role within the business in cybersecurity planning, design & manage quarterly Security Awareness campaigns in line with pre-defined business requirements.Manage the role (Data Protection Officer) within the team that has responsibility for data governance including but not limited to GDPR.Control IT Budget and update annually based on Business need. Hardware and Software pricing review and adoption of licensing models for better ROI for the business. IT Service Management Manage our 3rd Party Managed IT Service Vendors and onboarding of additional vendors as required – SLA’s, RFP’s, Contract reviews/renewals and maintaining a working relationship with regular engagement. KPIs based on value for money and improvement of services for the Business. Manage all Glanua IT staff that provide support across all business systems & service on execution platforms with escalation of support requests as needed through all necessary channels.Ownership of operational issues and work with vendors and/or internal resource to resolve.Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure that there is appropriate advance engagement with the IT Department in terms of supporting key business needs. This may involve Business Analysis and requirements gathering. Manage Change Advise the Finance Director of any planned IT Changes and assist in providing ideas for improvements that can be made both through IT Processes and innovative technology.Ensure that there is a documented process in place to manage all proposed IT change requests. Ensure proper release management processes are documented, communicated, and followed within the business to reduce business risks.Manage new Glanua site provisioning, updates and upgrades of infrastructure and systems as required.Project manage major IT changes in line with project management principles and impact assessment to ensure minimal impact to the Business.Bring innovation and process improvements through change processes. Administration Manage the purchasing of hardware and software, renewals, and support agreements with third party vendors and managing POs and GRNs through the ERP system in an efficient manner.Manage and update Service Catalogue and asset register within Service Desk system.Regular reporting (SLT meeting presentation at a minimum bi-annually) to the business and the IT function of plans and progress of major projects.Manages relationships with third parties by monitoring their performance and ensuring their performance meets expectations. Maintain 3rd Party contracts list.Develop, implement, and ensure compliance of all relevant IT policies and governance across the company, including proper licence management.Ensure all systems and infrastructure are within vendor support levels.Develop and implement policies and procedures to support IT software and systems. Other senior management duties as required from time to time. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:The main knowledge, skills and experience required of the Group IT Manager are outlined as follows: Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant area or equivalent relevant experience.10 years IT experience with 5 years in IT management.Evidence of thought leadership and innovation delivery.Experienced in ERP solutions (Preferred SAP).Strong background in Technology, Project Management, Service Delivery, IT Operations, and Vendor Management.Experienced in data security and implementing IT and user policies.Proven Track record delivering excellent customer service technical support – strong problem-solving background.Full Driving License.
