The main duties of this role will involve, but not be limited to; Maintain current business relationships and network for new business accounts both in Ireland and Overseas. Sales activities including setting up appointments, sales trips, telesales, FAM trips, tradeshow attendance, site inspections Identify, target and generate new leads for the Assistant Director of Sales to secure new business contracts. Assist the Assistant Director of Sales, to ensure the successful implementation of the various sales promotions Field & qualify phone calls and email enquiries Manage an agreed list of accounts, responsible for the development and revenue levels of these accounts. Prepare proposals and contracts for the hotel Organise and carry out show arounds & entertain clients as required Answer all sales related queries in the absence of the Assistant Director of Sales Assist with the creation & implementation of the sales & marketing plan. Ensure client requests are handled in a timely and personable manner. Compile and issue sales reports Requirements Have a full clean driver's license and their own transport Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must have good attention to detail & work efficiently Must be standards driven, customer focused & passionate Proficiency in the English language is essential, both written and oral Must be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills Knowledge of Hotsoft or Opera an advantage We offer an exceptional working environment and development opportunities that are beyond everything, state of the art equipment as well as competitive rates of pay & benefits. #jobstan
