The CompanyMy client is one of Galway's best-known pubs with a vibrant music scene and large customer base.The RoleMy client is currently looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join the existing team. These roles are available on a full-time basis.Responsibilities: Create and maintain service and operational standards for the bar, making use of best practices and efficiencies where possibleAssist floor and bar teams during busy periods, prepared to jump in where neededFloor & Bar managers have to be physically present on the restaurant floor, in the bar and in the kitchen to monitor the quality of the service and the food.Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including staffing, staff training, administration and active floor management during serviceEnsure proper implementation of policies and procedures to staffManaging employees requires training and communicating restaurant policies to the staff, scheduling shifts, and calling in staff when there is a gap in shift coverage Requirements At least 2 years experience in hospitalityExperience in a similar role is desirable but each candidate will be reviewed on meritPassion for working in hospitalityAble to delegate tasks whilst working in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbalFriendly, Energetic personalityExcellent Customer Service skillsExcellent leadership SkillsOrganisation & Time-keeping skills Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Weekend availability Experience: Hospitality: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
