We are currently working with a reputable logistic company based in Drogheda, Co. Louth, and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Planner to join their team. Responsibilities: Plan daily and weekly activities to ensure the effective use of resources. Plan transport loads to and from Ireland, UK, and the continent. Implement effective route planning for drivers and oversee orders to completion. Actively manage POD/activity paperwork. Liaise with the team and drivers to ensure service levels and customer requirements are met. Communicate with clients, sub-contractors, overseas offices, and agents. Respond to changing customer demands promptly. Communicate with customers to understand their requirements. Perform administrative tasks efficiently and to a high standard, following reasonable standard operating procedures. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and IT skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Full understanding of driving rules and regulations. Customer-oriented mindset.
