(“FRMC”) is a leading independent third party Fund Management Company providing management company services to Luxembourg, Ireland and UK domiciled collective investment schemes in accordance with the respective regulations. We have an opportunity for an Investment Risk Analyst within the Investment Risk team. This position will be based in our Limerick Office.Purpose of the Role:To assist in management and delivery of an effective Investment Risk Compliance management of FundRock’s fund hosting operation.To assist in review, reporting and escalation requirements of the company’s Investment Oversight Committee as directed.In this role, you will be responsible for: Prepare and monitor the daily risk reporting of funds; with focus on the global exposure; (Value at Risk and Commitment).Monitor and report on the regulatory (e.g. UCITS / AIFMD) and prospectus investment restrictions regarding the compliance of funds;Monitor and report the liquidity risk of investment funds (assets and liabilities);Preparation of ad-hoc Risk analysis reports to the executives;Perform review of control checklists summarizing all the investment objectives and policies, and investment regulations and restrictions;Prepare and monitor Risk Profile.Perform reviews of legal documentation at the Fund’s set-up stage;Perform set-up of rules in LineData for new and existing funds;Perform day to day controls and analysis of incident reports;Daily monitoring and reporting of all breaches using LineData.Perform regular checks of credit rating of the instruments held;Report on status of breaches of investment restriction or investment policy matters;Maintain and develop the communication with fund’s stakeholders such as investment managers, administrators, auditors, etc.Work closely with other departments and provide support to the clients with ad-hoc queries, new products, funds and/or strategiesEnsure feed-back and support to colleagues and managementAssist with regulatory reportingProvide timely feedback and support to colleagues, management and auditors (internal and external);Identify and participate in operational and system enhancements;Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for various governance. Your Profile A minimum of 2years’ experience of working in financial servicesUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or LawKnowledge of fund regulations ( including, but not limited to UCITS, AIFMD, EMIR) and investment products;Knowledge of regulated funds and investment products risk management techniques e.g. AIFMD/UCITS risk managementKnowledge of Liquidity Risk ManagementKnowledge of Collective Investment SchemesKnowledge of Derivatives, Fixed Income and Equity products, risk analysis and models (VaR, Back-test, Stress test) and valuation models of financial products is an advantage.Experience in Riskmetrics and LineData or similar Investment Compliance and Risk systems, a distinct advantage ;Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office tools (especially Excel); Knowledge of Bloomberg, or other Data providers is an advantageAbility to work within a team as well as on own initiative; Highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated;Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
