Matrix Internet is looking for a UI Web Designer to join our diversified Design team. We are looking for an experienced and talented designer to design and shape unique, user-centric websites. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UI/UX designers, and digital marketers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. You will join a creative team of marketers, designers, and developers all in-house in our brand-new digital space in Dublin city centre.The tasks involved in the job will include: Excellent design skills.Developing and communicating UI design guidelines and design specifications.Generate end-to-end designs - from concept through to wireframing, storyboards and sitemap.Proficient working knowledge with relevant design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision.Excellent Communication skills (visual and non-visual).Demonstrated proficiency with prototyping tools.Generate end-to-end designs.Strong creative and design skills and be familiar with various design technologies.Oversee the development and delivery of effective user interfaces across a range of client websites.Ensure complex information is delivered and displayed in the most compelling way. Who are we looking for?Our team works very closely together on several projects, so we are looking for someone who not only has the right skills and passions but also someone who can quickly adapt to changes and who will add that little something more to our team by becoming a key contributor to the team and company.Required Education, Skills and QualificationsThe key qualifications and abilities we are looking for are: 3+ years of UI Design experience.Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related discipline.Expert knowledge of UI design principles and techniques.An online portfolio that demonstrates your design talent.Strong knowledge and understanding of user-centered design.Experience using user-research methods, analytics, and other insights to guide project direction.Problem-solving aptitude.Experience with responsive design.Experience of delivering UI design projects to budget and deadlines.Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc. If you think you’re the right person for the job, and if Matrix Internet sounds like the place for you, then get in touch!!
