About the Team The Intelligent Orchestration team is responsible for some of Workday's core service orchestration technologies, which are deployed in Workday's data center and public cloud environments. We provide orchestration solutions for other Workday development and operations teams, allowing us to reach the next level of scale.Within this team, we are also responsible for Workday's optimized job processing platform, which executes some of the largest customer jobs in Workday. Our platform performs mission critical processing for our customers and plays a key role in the scalability of Workday's platform. About the Role Working closely with other Software Engineers and Product Managers, you will use and grow your knowledge and creativity to design effective test solutions (manual and automated) in order to ensure a high-quality product for our customers.Expand and improve our suite of test automation scripts, conduct manual verification tests on key features, and optimise our approach to software quality even further.Create and own innovative solutions in our test pipelines as well as the product itself, in order to improve overall engineering productivity and software quality.Maintain and improve Infrastructure stabilityIntegrate and manage test environments About You Basic Qualifications: 5+ years working in Software Testing and developing automated testsStrong coding skills: 4+ years experience in functional testing and testing processesExperience with gradle and groovySolid foundation of QA methodology, testing techniquesAbility to work with Git Working knowledge of DockerWorking with environments and DevOps team to ensure efficient and stable buildsSkills in Scala /Java / functional programmingTroubleshooting production issues and implementing resilient tests to prevent future issuesBachelor's degree in computer science or related field Other Qualifications: Experience with Jenkins and/or similar orchestration toolsExperience in performance testing is a plusExperience with building of monitoring dashboardsKnowledge of Linux based OS, Cloud / Virtual Machines, GCP / AWS Skills in Scala /Java/ functional programming is a bonusA passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
