Technical Executive - (Domestic and Non Domestic)

KSN Energy is looking for a Technical Executive to join their team, working across a broad range of domestic & non-domestic SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) grant funded retrofit energy schemes including Better Energy Communities, One Stop Shop, EEOS, EXEED & SSRH.As a member of our Technical Team, you will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support during the day-to-day running of the SEAI grant schemes. You will be required to liaise with all project stakeholders including contractors, applicants, project co-ordinators and SEAI in relation to technical queries around the major renovation and energy upgrades of existing buildings/homes and assets within the retrofitting industry. The work will involve both practical and theoretical elements.This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to move into an expanding retrofit industry within an office-based environment. Full training will be provided on the role.The successful candidate should be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with an ability to work on their own and as part of a team.Responsibilities: included but are not limited to: Assisting the scheme manager in the preparation and allocation of desktop audits & site inspections.Reviewing completed audit/inspection results prior to issuing to SEAI.Tracking and recording SLAs around desktop audits and site inspections.Preparation of weeks/monthly reports for key indicators and key findings.Compiling close out reports.Attending weekly/monthly/quarterly meeting with the SEAI.Attending site inspections when required to ensure process compliance.Administer relevant quality management systems. (IS0 50001 etc)Compilation and updating of scheme process documents.Taking technical calls relating to audits/inspections and clarification of queries from applicants and project co-ordinatorsAdvising inspectors on updates and changes to scheme rules, building regulations etc. Essential Skills: (The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate) 3rd Level qualification i.e., Degree and/or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Science or Building and/or equivalent Trade qualification within the construction industry.Competence in domestic and/or non-domestic retrofit energy upgrade worksA knowledge of Ireland’s building technologies industry, buildings and services, or another relevant sectorGood knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteTechnically adept, logical, analytical, and numerically astute.Strong project management and organisation skills Desirable Skills: (It is highly desirable that candidates have)The successful candidate will most likely have the following skills and competencies: Energy Auditor certification/experience, CEM etcMeasurement & Verification certification/experience, IPVMP, ISO50001Working knowledge of energy usage and measurement in buildings and industry generallyBER Building Energy Rating Qualification
