Sult, Bar & Restaurant, at the University of Galway is seeking an Evening Kitchen Porter! We're seeking an enthusiastic, energetic person to join our team. You will work under the guidance of an experienced Head Chef, and together with an experienced Kitchen Porter and our strong catering team. The role would suit someone interested in working with food or an interest in undergoing trainee chef education. Are you looking for a good work / life balance? - No spilt shifts? - No late nights? - Only occasional weekend work? - Guaranteed Christmas and Summer holidays? - A friendly working environment? - Staff meals paid for by the company, while on shift?If so, Sult might be the place for you!Main Responsibilities Carry out cleaning duties in and around the kitchen; wash-up; storage and customer service areas. Check and store deliveries in relevant storage areas while following, existing stock rotation systems. A willingness to be trained in food preparation which could, in time, lead to a progression to a junior / trainee cheffing role. HACCP and all other, relevant training will be provided.About the EmployerSult Is the only bar on campus at University of Galway. Is the primary social and entertainment venue at University of Galway. Has a substantial bar, restaurant, café and event catering businesses.
