Job Description: Perform Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Deli Manager on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading grocery retailer, to join their busy convenience store in Cobh. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Position Overview: As a crucial part of the stores management team, you will be responsible for exceeding the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set for the deli department. Your role includes motivating and leading a team of deli assistants to ensure each customer has an outstanding shopping experience. Compensation Highlights: Competitive hourly rate starting at 17 euros, based on experience Bonus incentives for meeting KPI targets Key Responsibilities: Drive sales and elevate customer service to meet departmental KPIs Lead, motivate, and empower the deli team Maintain high standards in the deli department Conduct regular stock assessments to identify and address potential profit loss issues Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience managing a deli in a high-traffic store Strong leadership and team management skills Effective decision-making abilities Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills Proven track record of achieving sales, margin, and waste reduction targets Genuine passion for food and ability to inspire customers Proficiency in merchandising and presenting the deli to the highest standards Effective control of stock rotation to ensure product quality and freshness Management of waste and shrinkage within the department Keeping updated on new products and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in the deli department Location: Cobh, in person Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Expected Hours: 40 - 42 per week, starting at 6 - 7 AM, 5 days over 7, including Saturdays Salary: 17.00 euro per hour, with bonus incentives for achieving KPI targets Application Requirements: Applicants must be residents of Ireland with relevant job experience in Ireland, as we do not provide work visas or relocation assistance.
